Trad on the Prom is an electrifying mix of music, song and dance. It showcases the amazing talents of Máirin Fahy and her world-class band. Máirin was the featured soloist with Riverdance since 1996 and is a regular guest with The Chieftains. She is joined by a host of special guests: Gerard Fahy, musician / director of Lord of the Dance: Mark Roberts, Eurovision star and leading song writer: Yvonne McMahon, singer with The Chieftains: Sean Costello, multi aims award winner and world - champion dancer: Cian Nolan. Trad on the Prom takes place during the period May - September.

This is a century old family run business right at the heart of the medieval quarter of Galway. The pub is housed in the building which used to be the townhouse of famous politician and animal rights activist Richard Martin, known as Humanity Dick, who lived there in the last century. The bar itself holds a long and varied history, particularly as one of the main homes of traditional Irish music in the West.
